Student Life

Student life at TCCS is about a great education and character development, and we help accomplish these through extracurricular activities. Whether competing on the field/court, planning student activities , playing an instrument, serving on the yearbook or newspaper committees, or serving in the community, students at TCCS have lots of opportunities to learn and grow outside of the classroom.

And let’s not forget... we want you to have fun while you're here!

Clubs and Activities

Students at Tri-Cities have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities and clubs. These activities help students develop all their talents to their highest potential. Elementary students meet with their clubs during a designated time twice a week. Junior high and senior high students meet during the co-curricular time or after school.

Honor Society

Tri-Cities Christian School is member of both the Tennessee Association of Christian School and American Association of Christian Schools Honor Societies. Membership in this elite group is one of the highest academic honors that can be bestowed on TCCS’ students. These young people, grades 10 -12, have distinguished themselves among their peers scholastically by having maintained a minimum grade point average of 3.5 for their high school career and have manifested spiritual and leadership qualities. They have shown exemplary character and willingness to serve others.

Missions

Students in 10th-12th grade, at Tri-Cities Christian Schools, are invited to participate in an annual mission trip to Belize, Central America.

Tri-Cities Christian Schools has led this mission annually since 1993. Students who have served as short term missionaries to the people of Belize have the opportunity to be “the hands and feet of Jesus” to a third world country. This opportunity will provide students with the chance to serve in various activities such as medical and dental clinics, evangelism, feeding programs and construction.

Students who have been a part of this mission often comment that it was a life changing trip.

Dress Code

Tri-Cities Christian has adopted a uniform policy as a means of building character and distinction in the lives of the students. Our goals in having this policy are to promote student's self-respect, lessen peer pressure, encourage unity among students, and to provide the opportunity for students to make a positive statement in the community. The only logo accepted on any blouses, shirts, sweaters, vests, and turtlenecks is the TCCS logo available from Lands End. TCCS’ preferred school number is 900074626.

Each Friday, students are allowed to wear “Spirit Wear” t-shirts, instead of the regular uniform shirt. These shirts are available for purchase at the school consignment sale, school sporting events, via an order form, and online here.
