About Us

Students in 10th-12th grade, at Tri-Cities Christian Schools, are invited to participate in an annual mission trip to Belize, Central America.

Tri-Cities Christian Schools has led this mission annually since 1993. Students who have served as short term missionaries to the people of Belize have the opportunity to be “the hands and feet of Jesus” to a third world country. This opportunity will provide students with the chance to serve in various activities such as medical and dental clinics, evangelism, feeding programs and construction.

Students who have been a part of this mission often comment that it was a life changing trip.

TCCS was founded in 1973 as a non-profit educational institution chartered by the    state of Tennessee and operated by a Board of Directors.

TCCS is a nondenominational school that exists for the purpose of educating preschool through senior high students and making this education genuinely a Christian education.

The first school building occupied by TCCS was located at 1200 East Center St. in Kingsport, TN. Four classrooms rented from the city of Kingsport served as both office and classrooms for grades 9, 10, 11 in the fall of 1973 with twenty-seven students in attendance on opening day.

In 2009 TCCS consolidated its elementary schools to the main campus located in Blountville, TN. The Blountville campus now hosts the K4 Junior Eaglet Program in addition to Kindergarten-12 grade students.

In 2014, TCCS became accreditation with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). This recognition further reinforced the robust programs delivered by the school.

Our School

Located in Blountville, Tennessee, in the center of the Tri-Cities region, Tri-Cities Christian Schools is a fully accredited, independent, co-educational school for kindergarten through twelfth grade. We are governed by a Board of Directors and accredited by the Tennessee Association of Christian Schools (TACS) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). At Tri-Cities Christian Schools, we provide a warm and friendly environment that emphasizes character, values, and academics.

Our Beliefs

The basis of Tri-Cities Christian Schools is the infallible Word of God, found in both the Old and New Testaments.  We hold to the sovereignty of God, revealed in the Lordship of Jesus Christ.  We submit unconditionally to the authority of the Holy Scriptures; thereby, we recognize Scripture to the highest and final standard for Christian education and for all matters of life.  On this basis, we subscribe to the following articles of faith:

  1. We believe in the plenary, verbal inspiration of the Bible (both the Old and New Testaments) (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21).
  2. We believe the creation of man was by the direct act of God (Genesis 2:7).
  3. We believe in the Holy Trinity as one God in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  God the Holy Spirit is the actively working person of God in the world today.
  4. We believe that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, the Just for the unjust that He might bring us to God  (Romans 5:8; I Peter 2:24; 3:18).
  5. We believe in the bodily resurrection of our Lord the third day according to the Scriptures (Matthew 28:6; I Corinthians 15:3-8, 20).
  6. We believe that He, only, is the great High Priest, and we need not the intercession of any man, but that Christ ever liveth to make intercession for us (I Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 7:24-26).
  7. We believe in the pretribulation, premillenial return of our Lord (I Thessalonians 4:13-18).
  8. We believe that man is saved by the grace of God and kept by the power of God (Ephesians 2: 8-9; I Peter 1:3-5).
  9. We believe that every truly born again soul should declare his faith by the act of baptism  (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38-42; Acts 8:36-39).
  10. We believe in the everlasting conscious blessedness of the saved and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost.
