About Us

Our School

Located in Blountville, Tennessee, in the center of the Tri-Cities region, Tri-Cities Christian Schools is a fully accredited, independent, co-educational school for kindergarten through twelfth grade. We are governed by a Board of Directors and accredited by the Tennessee Association of Christian Schools (TACS) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). At Tri-Cities Christian Schools, we provide a warm and friendly environment that emphasizes character, values, and academics.

Our Beliefs

At Tri-Cities Christian Schools, the truth of the Bible is incorporated into every aspect of school life. We offer a college preparatory program centered on the belief that God is the source of all truth. It is the goal of the school to teach students to think, speak, write, and act in a Christian manner. This best prepares students for life's challenges so they can model Christ in their school, church, workplace, and community. By integrating faith and academic achievement, we prepare our students to be the next generation of Christian leaders.

Students in 10th-12th grade, at Tri-Cities Christian Schools, are invited to participate in an annual mission trip to Belize, Central America.

Tri-Cities Christian Schools has led this mission annually since 1993. Students who have served as short term missionaries to the people of Belize have the opportunity to be “the hands and feet of Jesus” to a third world country. This opportunity will provide students with the chance to serve in various activities such as medical and dental clinics, evangelism, feeding programs and construction.

Students who have been a part of this mission often comment that it was a life changing trip.

TCCS was founded in 1973 as a non-profit educational institution chartered by the    state of Tennessee and operated by a Board of Directors.

TCCS is a nondenominational school that exists for the purpose of educating preschool through senior high students and making this education genuinely a Christian education.

The first school building occupied by TCCS was located at 1200 East Center St. in Kingsport, TN. Four classrooms rented from the city of Kingsport served as both office and classrooms for grades 9, 10, 11 in the fall of 1973 with twenty-seven students in attendance on opening day.

In 2009 TCCS consolidated its elementary schools to the main campus located in Blountville, TN. The Blountville campus now hosts the K4 Junior Eaglet Program in addition to Kindergarten-12 grade students.

In 2014, TCCS became accreditation with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). This recognition further reinforced the robust programs delivered by the school.
